Greetings,
It is a sad day in Pooseville. Our dearest Nubi juan Kenobi, my familiar and beloved partner passed over the rainbow yesterday. I was blessed to have this furball of unconditional love with me for over twenty years. He stayed with me through the best times and some of the most horrific days of my life. I am grateful for his love and devotion.
He lived to be 23 years, 2 months and 2 days.
I would like to thank Dr Leslie Swieko and the staff at Our Family Veterinary Services for their kindness, compassion and their care through the years and helping him to cross over peacefully.
A special thank you to Katherine at Professional Pet Services of Salem who introduced me to Nubi when he was originally named Anubis and in need of a new home. Once he adopted me, his asked that his name be changed to Nubi juan Kenobi. He did not want to be refered to as Anubis, Egyptian deity of cemeteries and embalming as well as the protector of graves.
Nubi juan Kenobi, a Jedi Master held the honorary title as Pope Nubius the Nubacious One and was the King of Pooseville. Also revered as General Nubi juan Kenobi, he served bravely in the Pooses for Peace and later was a professor at the Zevo Calamari Bite & Run Institute.
He has decreed that his kingdom and businesses shall be governed by Juanita and Peesh with their entourage of Rescue Pooses at Our Family Veterinary Services.
A parade in his honor will take place Sunday morning in Salem MA followed by a nondenominational memorial service on Winter Island. (The mayor of Salem has not been informed of this event nor is he invited.)
Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama will be attending along with other dignitaries, celebrities, a few of the elderly Salem witches and close friends.
The Concert for Nubi will follow. Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Ringo Starr, Cyndi Lauper and many others will join together for this event. All proceeds will benefit rescue animals.

Thank you for being a part of Nubi's life. His Spirit lives on.
