Barkopaedia:

The Canine Book of Knowledge

By Jeanie Mossa & Norman Kraft

The bond between humans and their furry friends is undeniably deep. Despite feeling emotionally and even spiritually connected to our dogs, we don’t always know what it is they need or want us to know. In this new release, Barkopaedia: The Canine Book of Knowledge by Jeanie Mossa and Norman Kraft [Laughing Wu Media, November 15, 2020] various canine healing modalities are explained to assist pet owners in relief of common ailments without having to take a stressful trip to the vet’s office. Mossa and Kraft pull from over 25 years of combined experience with veterinary acupuncture and holistic medicinal practices to help pet owners decipher exactly what their pets want them to know. Unlike other holistic pet health books, Barkopaedia takes the study of man’s best friend one step further to delve into canine spirituality and an analysis of dogs in literature, organized religion and other spiritual practices such as astrology and tarot.

Unbeknownst to most pet owners, animals have chakras and acupressure points. As a result, dogs can experience relief when holistic practices are used by owners. Barkopaedia details a pet owners’ guide to the benefits that Traditional Chinese Medicine, veterinary acupuncture theory, acupressure, herbal medicine, chiropractic practices, Reiki, sound therapy, aqua-therapy and so much more can have on their dogs’ life. Supplemented by the whimsy of the spiritual portion of the book, Barkopaedia unfurls the secrets of your dogs’ mind and body in a fun and entertaining way. Mossa and Kraft share their industry expertise in Barkopaedia through a mixture of advice, humor and professional anecdotes.

Barkopaedia surveys recipes, homeopathic remedies to common issues, holistic practices that will keep your best friend happy and healthy, as well as the canine related aspects of spirituality. Whether you’re interested in incorporating holistic treatment into your dogs’ life or you’d just like to learn more about the unknown side of man’s best friend, Mossa and Kraft leave no stone unturned as they discuss the intricacies of supplemental animal care.

Intelligent and engaging, Barkopaedia is a useful and fun guide for anyone interested in taking the first steps into alternative pet care. Mossa and Kraft are available for interviews, Q&A’s and byline articles around the launch of Barkopaedia to discuss/write on topics including but not limited to:

·        What holistic practices best fit your pets’ common ailment

·        How to ensure your pets’ everyday comfort

·        Supplemental animal care and why your pet could benefit from it

·        What every dog wishes their owner knew about them
