More Happy Dogs!

We are in the process of adding more pawsome stories about how acupuncture has helped a few dogs on the North Shore area of MA on the Four Paws Acupuncture Happy Dogs Page website.

Meanwhile... here is a sneak preview!

"My dog, Mino, has been getting acupuncture once a week for the last month and is showing good improvement! He’s back to chasing his two sisters and is *running* in bursts around the yard
Arthritis sucks."  Leslie S.

"Lucy has been acting 5 years younger since getting acupuncture treatments!" Rick B

"Maddy loves to chase his favorite ball in the yard!" Meg O

These happy dogs all had a combination of acupuncture, laser therapy, acupressure as well as some recommendations for herbal and or homeopathic remedies to ease pain and reduce symptoms.

The owners aka guardians of these dogs all participated in their dog's healing process by following recommendations for herbal/homeopathic remedies, doing massage and acupressure on their dogs daily and using the "stinky herbal liniment" during the massages. Thanks to their help, these dogs had a much faster rate of recovering than most dogs.

Unfortunately many dog owners think that it will only take one acupuncture session to "heal" their dog's symptoms and that no participation at home is necessary. Acupuncture is not a miracle cure. It takes at least 3-4 sessions in a row (one per week) to see a positive change in your dog's symptoms. Just like joining a gym, you cannot expect to leave thin and fit after your first workout!

It also takes a combination of supplements, herbs or other natural remedies to speed up the healing process along with acupressure done at home.

A big FOUR PAWS up thanks to all those dog guardians who have been such wonderful pet parents!
